Support organisations vital to the third sector

During September and October the Sir George Martin Trust attended three funding fairs in Halifax, Barnsley and Leeds. We’ve met dozens of fantastic charities and voluntary groups, and believe that you can’t beat meeting face-to-face. Yorkshire infrastructure support organisations have organised the funding fairs, and these events, along with all the funding and governance advice they give is crucial to maintaining a healthy and sustainable voluntary and community sector. Thanks go to SYFAB (South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau), VAC (Voluntary Action Calderdale) and VAL (Voluntary Action Leeds) for inviting our Trust to attend.  Looking forward to the next one!
